A second line.
A second brain.

Your work number. Your side hustle. Your dating life. Callr gives you a real US or Canadian number that texts, calls, records, transcribes, and answers when you can't — so you don't have to remember everything.

Subscription is one of four paths. Free forever, Lifetime, or pay-as-you-go credits — your call.

For our existing family

Phone Recorder customers → Pro Lifetime, automatic.

If you bought Pro on the original Phone Recorder app, just open Callr. We verify with Apple and grandfather you into Pro Lifetime on first launch — no receipt, no email, no support ticket.

How it works ↓

Why Callr

Three things no other second line does.

01

Search any call you've ever had.

Every call gets transcribed in real time. Every voicemail too. Search across the whole archive — find what someone said three weeks ago in two seconds.

02

Dona answers in your voice. In 34 languages.

AI receptionist that screens spam, schedules meetings against your calendar, takes detailed messages with sentiment, and escalates only when she's stuck. Hospitality, not hallucination.

03

No subscription required. Ever.

Free forever tier, Pro and Max subscriptions, Lifetime one-time purchase, or pay-as-you-go credits. Subscription is one of four paths — never the only one. iCubeLabs core tenant.

How it works

From a phone number to a perfect memory.

Four steps. About the time it takes to make coffee.

  1. 01

    Pick your number.

Choose a US or Canadian area code. Get your Callr number in under 60 seconds. Keep your real number private for family and 2FA.

  2. 02

Make a call. Or take one.

Callr rings your iPhone like any other line. Answer, dial, text, MMS — works over Wi-Fi or cellular through Apple's CallKit.

  3. 03

    Watch it remember.

Every call gets transcribed in real time. Bookmark a moment with one tap. Smart topic tags appear automatically. No setup.

  4. 04

    Search anything you ever said.

"What did Maya say about the marble?" Type it. Find the exact moment, three weeks back, in two seconds.

Meet Dona

Your AI receptionist.
Always at the desk.

Dona answers when you can't. She picks up in your voice, speaks the caller's language, takes a detailed message, books a meeting against your calendar, and texts you a recap before the next call comes in.

She doesn't make stuff up. If she's stuck, she escalates. If a caller asks something she can't answer, she says so — and asks you on a side channel while keeping the caller engaged. Hospitality, not hallucination.

  • Answers in your voice (Max tier)

  • Escalates to you only when she's stuck

30 permanent duties · 34 supported languages · 7 hospitality principles. Available on Pro. In-call image generation and voice cloning are Max-tier exclusives.

Who it's for.

The audience we built it with — and against.

The Hustle

You took a side project seriously.

Now you get calls at 11pm and you don't want them on your main line. Give out Callr. Turn it off at 9. Let Dona take messages while you sleep.

The Guardian

A number you can hand out without flinching.

Use it for dating, classifieds, deliveries, online forms. Block, mute, schedule, archive. If someone abuses it, throw it away. Recording optional, consent always.

The Team

One number, one team, every word logged.

Share a Callr line. Everyone sees the inbox. Every call recorded, transcribed, and Privacy Receipt'd. Compliance Audit Pack export for your accountant or lawyer.

FAQ

Questions.

Real. Your Callr number rings your iPhone like any other line — inbound calls, outbound calls, SMS, MMS, voicemail. Powered by carrier-grade VoIP and Apple CallKit/PushKit, so it shows up in your phone's call history and works over Wi-Fi or cellular.

No. Recording is off by default. When you turn it on, Callr detects the state laws where you and the other party are, shows the right consent disclosure, and will pause if you're in an all-party-consent state and can't confirm. See our privacy policy for the full state matrix.

Yes — that's the whole point. Every recorded call and voicemail is transcribed automatically, and you can search across the lot from the Search tab. Find what someone said three weeks ago in two seconds.

Yes. Your Callr number is portable — you can port it out to another carrier any time. We never hold your number hostage, and data export is one tap in Settings (GDPR/CCPA/PIPEDA/Law 25 compliant).

No. If you purchased Pro in the legacy Phone Recorder app (iCubeMedia era), we grandfather you into Callr Pro Lifetime automatically on first launch. No receipt needed — we verify with Apple.

Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. Everything — profile, conversations, recordings, transcripts, voicemails, usage metrics — is purged across all 22 tables within 30 days of request. Audit log of the deletion is retained (no content) for 90 days for regulatory compliance.

We're in closed beta with a wave of TestFlight testers now. Submission to the public App Store opens once we ship our privacy policy live (this page) and carrier brand registration (10DLC) clears — a 7–14 day external review. Join the beta below to skip the queue when waves open.

iCubeLabs · est. 2014

Built by the studio that's been recording iPhone calls since the App Store let it.

Callr is the next chapter of the original Phone Recorder — the app a generation of journalists, lawyers, and home-buyers used to keep receipts on the calls that mattered. We rebuilt it from scratch on a modern stack (Telnyx, Supabase, Apple CallKit), added an AI that actually understands the call, and kept the part you cared about: subscription is never the only path.

We're a small team in Montréal and Toronto, building tools we actually use. If something on Callr feels off, hello@callr.icube.so lands in our inbox, not a ticket queue.
